Clients for these award-winning projects represent each county of Delaware
Wilmington, Del. – Blue Blaze Associates, a full-service strategic marketing and design agency, has been awarded three 2023 Hermes Creative Awards. Blue Blaze works throughout the state of Delaware and across North America. The clients represented in these award-winning projects have operations in New Castle County, Kent County, and Sussex County.
Blue Blaze received a Platinum Award, the highest Hermes honor, for design of the 2022 Report of the President with Delaware State University. This 32-page annual report highlights the multiple accomplishments, innovative research, and major events of students, faculty, and alumni, in a clear and engaging design format. Written content for the report was developed by Peter Osborne, of Friction Free Communications LLC.
A Gold Award was presented in honor of Blue Blaze’s website redesign for the Bryan Allen Stevenson School of Excellence, a new public charter school set to open in Sussex County for fall 2024. Blue Blaze developed this website to support school enrollment by creating a fresh and intuitive user interface that appeals to students, parents, employees, and donors. The new website allows visitors to switch languages between English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole, to make it accessible to all of their target audiences.
Blue Blaze was recognized with an Honorable Mention Award for a comprehensive branding refresh project for Forward Journey, the only Delaware adult day program that serves individuals with multiple, severe disabilities. Forward Journey provides services in New Castle and Kent Counties. This rebranding project included a name change; writing key messaging; development of their visual identity, logo, and tagline; and a completely redesigned website. Blue Blaze also facilitated the brand roll-out to internal and external stakeholders, designing a presentation with talking points for Forward Journey leadership and helping with an event when the brand was unveiled.

The Hermes Creative Awards are one of the oldest and largest creative competitions in the world. Winners range in size from individual freelancers to media conglomerates and fortune 500 companies. The annual competition attracts more than 6,500 entries from around the globe and is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
