Located in the heart of University City, the Academy completely transformed an old corner bakery into a beautiful music-making space that appeals to parents seeking the highest quality musical education for their children.
Blue Blaze created a new brand identity with an art deco sensibility to complement the neighborhood’s historic architecture. The piano silhouette in black and white instantly communicates the focus of the Academy. Outdoor signage, business cards, CD covers, certificates, and a website were also designed. A custom bike rack was installed near the front door in the shape of a grand piano to mimic the logo.
The school is now established and growing–and their business storefront won a prestigious citywide design award.
